Tasting for the 15th?

Thu Jan 12, 2006 5:37 pm

OK, I've been watching the site...is there someplace secret where you guys post up the weekly commercial tasting that I can't find?

What is it for this coming week? If undecided, can I offer a suggestion?

NOT FOSTER'S.

How about Genesee Cream Ale?

No, seriously, not giving you guys shit because I know you have to pick widely avaiable beers. I just know it turned into a pretty long topic last week. :)

For Vinnie I think that ORVAL would have been the more appropriate choice. Brettanomyces is what make it what it is.

Vinnie loves BRETT.

He has a great pale ale that is spiked with brett in the pub right now. No bottles as of yet.

Justin, ask him about it if you can?

Chimay Red is one of my favorites. I even make a passable clone of it. Alas, I have none on hand right now so I will be drinking the blue label version that is sitting in the back of the fridge. I have been saving this one so I can try to propagate the yeast in the dregs for another brew.
