any plans to have a show about yeast culturing? I have done it for many years and I would love to get some fresh ideas on better ways to do things.

We have done some yeast culturing segments, but not a full show yet. I'll put it on the docket.

Yeast culturing really is very easy. I suggest trying to obtain "The Fungus Among Us". It's a small pamphlet type book by Yuseff Cherney and Chris White (owner of White Labs) You can find a link to buy this book here:

https://secure5.nexternal.com/shared/StoreFront/default.asp?CS=hbm&BusType=BtoC&Count1=375255763&Count2=292396187&ProductID=58&Target=products.asp

This has a decent amount of information in it and at $3.95 cents its a good bargain.

If your just to lazy to order "The Fungus Among Us" or you want information on making your own slants at home read this article.

I have used the methods described in both of these articles religiously and have always had good results. I guess its just the beer-geek in me but I love being able to have as much control as possible and the more stuff I can do myself the more love I feel I put into every batch!
