Great American Beer Festival: Jason Petros will be representing morebeer.com, and we will try to record a 20 minute interview with him.

10/7-10/8
Northern California Homebrewers Festival (NCHF)
I will be there, and attempt to record some of the local brew clubs talking about their beer.

10/22 Saturday
Firestone Oktoberfest Party at their brewery on Saturday.
I am hoping to have a live interview with Matt Brynaldson as he gives me a walk through of his brewery. This guy knows beer chemistry.

11/14 Monday
I will be brewing a 50gal batch of Munich Helles, which the recipe can be found in the latest Zymurgy.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Jon, I hope Matt Brynildson isn't going to try to spring something on you guys in response to the "drunk show". Better watch your cup.

I'm glad to see you will be there and upset that I might be too drunk and sound like a jackass if I talk to you guys. With so many beers to taste, it should make for some good recordings. You should be sure and hit a rep from all the clubs at least early in the morning on Sat and again later in the day. Comparing both recordings would be quality entertainment. Also, recording a few people talking about their keg toss technique should be good. Our club, Bay Area Regional Fermenters, hosted it last year and found that everybody thought they had a winning technique.

Awesome. I'll be at NCHF with 40 gal. or so of some Pliny-like brew that was split up and dryhopped differently. Come visit the Sudzers booth. Just make it somewhat early if you want intelligible responses. If not, come by anytime. :D
