The Brewing Network Show- 8/28/05

Sat Aug 27, 2005 8:17 am

Hey kids, just a friendly reminder to check out The Brewing Network Show this Sunday, the 28th at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. This week we will feature Triple Rock Brewery from Berkeley, CA. We'll find out all about their beers, and get to the bottom of what makes an alehouse sustainable in the long term (uhh, besides good beer that is). Tune in to hear what wonderful brewing topic Brewcasters Justin, Jon and Doctor Scott will apply their considerable talents and wit to. Be sure to hang out in the chat room and have a few with the gang there as we listen to the show. As always, it'll be a great time!

The guy sitting across from Justin is the head brewer at Drake's Brewing here in the Bay Area (San Leandro to be exact.) His name slips my mind at the moment.

The hip facial hair seems to be a prerequisite for being a professional brewer. When I post pix of Jon and Doctor Scott, you will see that it is not for being a brewcaster.

hehe. Little baby Jon can't grow facial hair. What a shame.

ok ..sorry, had to join in there. Official topic is actually going to be the bussiness side of alehouses and brewing. We discoverd that Triple Rock does not distribute, but brews tons of different beers, so we're gonna find out how they do it, and some tips to move to the next level for homebrewers as well.
