Segment Sponsorship

Mon Dec 26, 2011 6:27 am

I'm an East Coaster and don't always (ok, never) get a chance to listen live to the program. I'd still like to chip in to the sponsor a segment deal. Is there another way to drop some loose change into the brew casters tip jar?

Good idea. I wonder if this would work. What about one time donations with a note in the comment box, as being for the Brewcasters? That may be a potential pain for J to deal with on his end though...not sure.

Maybe sell them in the store? I wonder if there are more fees associated that way?

How about a virtual tip jar - a Donate button for each brewcaster? Could foster a bit of competition...

I'm all for supporting the show, I think the segment sponsorship takes away from the show and slows it down though. I too like the idea of a tip jar on the web page. I would throw a few more bones in on top of my monthly donation to go towards the brewcasters and beer ingredients and stuff. I was also thinking that one show could be dedicated to a BN fundraiser like a PBS style drive without the douchey tote bags.
That way a bunch of cash could be generated for CYBI beer ingredients, brewcaster funds, and westy gas money so J can do more on the road reports.

So JP's jar would be the "Virtual Jip Tip jar?" :D
