trying to find hop schnapps

I was listening to lunch meet #9 and heard "hop schnapps" I want to find some but did not get a name or anything like that, can anyone help me find some????? :bnarmy:

Hopfen-Tropf? I think that's what it's called... I don't think they sell it in America.

My wife and I stayed at Ayinger and did the brewery tour (honeymoon). They gave us a bottle of hop schnapps at the end of our stay (among other things). Maybe try doing that?

Was at Distill America last night and Rogue now has a Hopquilla liquor out that they make with hops. Was pretty good.
Pri: Community Nudity Ale, Magician Red Ale, Berliner Weisse
Bottled: Paxton's Tripel and Dubbel, 400 Rabbits Ale, Cap'n Crunch Amber Oat Ale

New Holland Brewing from Michigan has one too called Mad Hatter Hopquila.

Cool thanks for the tips, Dstar i would love to stay their but not in the card or pocketbook at this time.

My next question is how would someone go about makeing a hopped schnapps. would a dry hoppingwork? or steeping? or a hop tea?????? :bnarmy:

I would say dry hop some vodka. I don't know how much or how long. Then strain it through a coffee filter or some fine screen like in a coffee press.
