OMG - Allagash Confluence Ale

Mon May 18, 2009 2:02 pm

I'm listening to the Allagash show today. The story about the wild bret yeast getting into the 3 week old stalled saison is truley amazing. I almost cried tears of joy listening to it, the story truley warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face. This story gives us insight into the first time mankind ever discovered beer, IMO. It probably was a wild brewed beer that fermented in a very similar accidental manner (minus the fermenter in a brewery of course). Brewers are just amazing people. They never cease to amaze me in their passion, creativity and openmindedness. I am proud to be part of such a special Brewing Brotherhood and Sisterhood! Cheers to You All!
