radio not working

Sat Apr 04, 2009 9:16 pm

I installed the abacast plugin in Firefox. I downloaded and installed the latest version of winamp and nothing works. It tries to open, but then I get an error message saying that I need to install the latest version of winamp. Any ideas? I can actually listen live it now, but it is not working :(

I am in the same boat. I can't get the live broadcast anymore. I am downloading the newest version of Winamp to see if that fixes the problem.

I use 5.03 from here: http://www.oldversion.com/download/winamp503.exe

I see no need to upgrade, it plays music just fine.

It's Winamp 5.551, the newest version. I don't use it, so I just installed it for this.

I had the same problem. My fix was to allow WinAmp to create the file associations it wants to by default. It then started working and I was able to remove the file associations and set them to my normal players without breaking BN.

I had to reinstall windows on my pc a bout a month ago. After which I couldn't stream the BN signal with Firefox. Winamp opened and said it was playing but nothing, timer didn't work either. I tried everything I could think of.

Finally, my only solution has been to click on the stream using IE.

I'd much rather be using firefox

I tried what tntjr said and it worked perfectly. Just in time. I got home around the time The session was starting. I followed his advice and it started streaming during the end of the intro.
