Freakin Out!

Fri Feb 03, 2006 11:21 am

You can find it (you know what it is) on the July 10th 2005 show at about 134:38

Hilarious -- Doc, why oh why did you say that!?!? You guys were pretty stuffed by that point :-) Cheers

Ya Think!!! Still, I don't know why I said that. It may be a mystery that can never be solved. :)

All I can think of is that there must have been something going on in the studio at that point. I could have been commenting to someone doing something you guys couldn't see. (It's radio after all) Some shows we have a lot of people in the studio, so there's a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes. I think it's a better show when we have a live guest(s). More interaction with the guest(s), on or off mic, really helps with the flow of the show.

Well, in Doc's defense he wasn't completely off topic. I could hear Brewcaster Jon talking about Matt from Firestone, saying "he's a yeast freak", which then triggered Doc's infamous, and seemingly out of place, "freaking out" utterance.

Doc, as we all remain insatiably entertained, just remember that old saying: mockery is the highest form of flattery. Don't let it get to you man! We want more! We need more!

Thanks Dawgfur, nice detective work!

I also heard I called in to the Lunchmeat show today. Somehow I don't remember that. I must've blacked out... 8) That, or like Jamil, I have an imposter out there tring to pass himself off as Dr Scott. :P

Either that, or he was talking with those pesky voices in his head...well that's what happens to me, anyway.

As I've said before, there is so much talent out there amongst the BN listeners, it's staggering. The brewing, the computer support, the photoshop antics, the killer songs, it goes on and on. Now, the way you guys have banded together as a united front to single out and ridicule me, Wow, I feel like I'm in grade school again! (remember that saying... , "all you need to know in life you learn in Kindergarden")

But really, this is what makes the BN so great. All of the listener contributions are what sets us apart. I'm glad I could inspire this surge of creativity. Keep up the good work guys.

Dr Teflon signing off... 8)
