Ok...I've had to think about this one in terms of our sponsorship agreement with Northern Brewer, as well as some of the goals of a sponsorship-giveaway such as this one. So, unfortunately I've had to make an executive decision here...

You've all hit on some good points here, but the bottom line is that this particular giveaway was already agreed upon to be a live participation giveaway. I made a small exception on this week's show in allowing someone else to qualify, but also forced them to call in to the show in order to qualify. I won't be doing that again.

The rules are as follow:
1. You must actively participate on a first person basis to qualify to win. I will give registration requirements during each show that tell how to qualify.
2. No person may qualify on behalf of someone else.
3. Please use descretion and common fairness in qualifying to win. I obviously have no way of knowing if you already have a keg system and are trying to win it for someone else. A bit of a code of honor is required here. Let your friends know that we are giving away a kegging system and all they have to do is tune in, have some fun with us, and participate to win. I think that price is much better than paying 2 bills themselves for the same keg system. If they can't listen at home, invite them over for a 'listener party" and enjoy the antics together. Mostly, allow our listeners who spend time with us on the air and can't afford a keg system a better chance to win.

The main thing is that TheBN will be giving away a bunch of cool stuff this year...trust me. We always work hard to be fair and to give everyone a chance. So we already have future giveaways planned that will be geared toward podcast/archive listeners as well. We'll accomodate all of our listeners, just not all at once.

Whew! That was a long time to be serious for me. So to make up for it...
F you all...especially Lufah.

Thanks guys
Justin

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.
