Jonesing, feinding, hard up in other words Oz "really wanting". Just some american slang ya know. Toss us the Ozlands slang word for that..

It got me curious, so I dug around in the OED to find out where it came from. It was a slang term for heroin in the '60s and may have referred to the need to keep getting a fix; "Keeping up with the Joneses", being a reference to a turn-of-the-century era comic strip.

That might also be an American idiom. I don't recall whether I knew it before I came to the States.
