Drats! Another tasting of a fine beer unavailable to me out here in the boonies. Oh, well. While you guys are tasing the Fat Tire, I can draw on many memories of sitting in the Red Lion in Spokane , Wa, drinking this stuff by the gallons, and working on my figure by eating tons of fry bread and honey.

Looking forward to the AHA guy too.

I gotta be honest. I find Fat Tire to be almost undrinkable. I won't be partaking in the critique tonight.

I have a few comments that I would like to share about last nights show and the chatroom that featured Gary Glass of the AHA.

I was a little disappointed with the chatroom last night to be honest. There were an alarming amount of people making comments about the interview with Gary Glass being boring or stupid. :( Although it might not have had the pure entertainment of the Drunken Show, the show last night was very informative. Gary gave some good info and examples of what the AHA has done in the past, this past year and what it plans on doing for the homebrew community in the years to come. Again it might not have been wild and crazy, the interview was very worthwhile and helped to spread word about the goings on of the AHA. I encourage listeners to go back and listen to the archive again and pay closer attention to the interview, it had some great information. :)

Along the same lines of chatroom issues, there were a fair number of people that made many comments about $38 for an AHA membership being too much or rationalizing it as a waste of money because they could use that money for another recipe kit instead. To those people, I feel deeply sorry for you as you have no idea what the AHA truly does for homebrewers. The AHA is an amazing organization that has done wonders for the homebrewing community over the last 28+ years. I encourage those who think that their money would be wasted on a membership to visit their site and do a little reading on what all the AHA does. For those of us that do give our money every year, it doesn't hurt to read those events either, just so we're reminded that our money and support is well worth it. :)

Finally, to the guys and girl of the BN...this was a good show that supported a good organization. Please don't let a few whiners keep you from doing shows like this again!

This is just my two cents worth.....flame away. :)

The chat room is a place where listeners (idiots and Einteins alike) can voice their opinions, like those opinions or not. Remember also, that most of us had been drinking  While I agree with you on both your points, difference of opinion in the chat room and the discussion that follows make it an interesting place to be.

A very good point. Thanks for the insight, Beerpal.

As one of the idiots, I'd like to say "well said, BeerPal". I was drinking last night and just wanted to tell Oz that I'm sorry about the Peep Hole magazine comment. I know he doesn't receive that rag, besides, when the new issue of Wool Enthusiast comes out, he hardly has time for any other mags.

Looks like the chat archiver worked last night, too!

Good point Impalla

the problem is the more people that get into the chat, the higher ratio of drunken fools are there.......including me if i have had a Orval for Breakfast. the othe rproblems that arrive is the chat become off topic of the show very often....and if thats not enough, when people get bored they will start posting those dumb ass sounds for no other reason than too annoy me...but that happens, ansd there will never be any stoping it, and if poor ol Jamil joins that chat he gets swamped with questions.....too bad Jamil, it comes with being a demi God my brother....

my point here.....i got no point......what is a point.....

was a good show, and the guys have a hard time getting the info out of the guests sometimes, and Daniela must have a huge brain drian, over 50 ppl telling her every week how much they love her, and Jonny 50-oh not feeding her beer...poor girl

i realy forgot my point here

oh i remember....FU code :drink
