That doesn't sound too bad. After all, yeast have enough fun to piss alcohol. How bad could their short little lives be?

Jamil and fity-G, just take it one show at a time. I have faith in you.

Thanks, I feel the same way. There is nothing worse than forced humor.

I'll relax a lot more over the next few shows and it will be fine. Not slap nuts funny, but conversational interesting. If that makes any sense.

Plus, we'll get better at delivering the information in the amount of time we have for each show. Should make it more worthwhile.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.

I gotta agree it did sound like NPR. If you listen to Jamil on the archive you can tell that he normally does not sound so bland. You could totally tell Jamil was nervous. Hosting is a bit different that being a guest/guest host. Trying to lead a discussion, follow you timeline, anwser questions and look at your notes all at the same time. Give it a couple show. I think it will get there.

Who cares if the show sounded like NPR. The information is invaluable and if the show is entertaining or humorous that's the icing on the cake. I tried brewing 17 years ago with only Charlie Papazian's book to guide me. I wouldn't have quit if I had people like Jamil and Jon sharing their brewing knowledge on the internet like we have today.

Don't worry guys. I'm sure that during sweeps Justin will come in, read some of his lame news stories and we will have a remote live show from Hooters.

Just be carefull of what you wish for.

And to Jamilz

Don't go changing, to try and please me
You never let me down before
Don't imagine you're too familiar
And I don't see you anymore
I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble
We never could have come this far
I took the good times, I'll take the bad times
I'll take you just the way you are

Don't go trying some new fashion
Don't change the color of your hair
You always have my unspoken passion
Although I might not seem to care

I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.

I need to know that you will always be
The same old someone that I knew
What will it take till you believe in me
The way that I believe in you.

I said I love you and that's forever
And this I promise from the heart
I could not love you any better
I love you just the way you are.

The show was great, but I was waiting for Jon and Jamil to disagree on something so we could hear Jamil bitch slap Jon. That would be great radio! I guess we will have to wait for a lager style for that to happen.

Jon: I think you should pitch warm.
Jamil: You could, but you would be wrong - again. (SMACK!)

Keep up the good work guys.
