Dr. Tim Cooper (hes a cardiologist) from Coopers Brewery actually did a show a few months back on the West Coast. I will try and dig out who he did it through and maybe they can lead you to him. (why not put him on with Nathen Lion from New Zeland, that would be a spark fest)

I was wondering, seems like there are a lot of kit and kilo types out there, can we do a show on simple improvements that may give you large bang for a little bit of cake?

I like the idea of some one that can speak specifically about the homebrewing process, speaking about ways I can make better beers. When Jamil is on, he always gives tips on what would make a better beer. He speaks intelligently about the entire process. He has made me rethink everything I am doing, from pitching to fermenting, to racking.

He has set the standard high, but you guys invited him, so find a way that you can continue in that thread. Bring us folks that will talk intelligently about the homebrewing process, and can help us make better beer.

That or strippers. I can go either way.

Been having a bit of a spirited discussion on the B3 board about the merits and value of an AHA membership. The questions seem to be exactly what does the AHA do for the homebrewer (member or not), what does the AHA do about restrictive legislation that exists in some states regarding homebrewing and is AHA membership worth the cost to the average joe? The AHA web site does not provide a whole lot of info about the association's mission.

I know Jamil is on the AHA Board, maybe this is a topic that he and Jon could discuss on their upcoming program.

This would be a great topic for the Charlie Papazian show

Water chemistry and how it affects beer making.

Also, what different hops do and how they affect flavors.
