I've got the 64 here, but I do have (think I still have) a printer, disk drive, and cassette drive for mine.

Well said, Tat. I love you too, man. It's always been fun to see the Army almost at each others' throats in a thread, and shoulder to shoulder when someone needs help. I was thinking along those same lines earlier today as I used some old advice from Henning to get my new Linux box playing the Abacast stream. I've passed that advice on to others who needed the help. I think of people like Code and Bugeater who are usually the first ones to help with problems, and know this forum is a place I can turn to when I need some advice, or something to lighten my day. Fucking feelings.

My first computer was a Tandy TSR-80 Color Computer. I wrote my Masters' thesis on that POS, using a word processor by a little company called Microsoft. Don't know if they are still around. . . :asshat: I did not keep it, nor the first PC I owned. Nor, for that matter, the last PC I owned, and if this Vista machine keeps acting up  , this piece of crap. I'll put the Linux box back up. If I win the lottery, I might even buy a Mac.

I'm thinking that the first round of BNA4 is on BrewTat. Anyone second that motion?

Well done statement about the BN Family, brewtat.

What's with all this talk about modern computers. I designed and built my first computer back in high school in 1964. No integrated circuits at that time (at least not affordable for a high school kid) so I used a box full of 1N34A diodes I hand soldered into a matrix for the cpu. About all it did was convert analog numbers into binary but it did work. No software, all hard wired.

That, and the original Castle Wolfenstein.... monochrome green screen on the Apple ][e, bitches. I ran a BBS called "Dark Side of the Moon" back in the mid to late 80's off of two 5.25" floppies and a 9600 baud modem. Good times...

Nice display of affection, there, Ta2. The best kind between dudes - virtual... Can't wait to hang out of my :nutters: with you guys for a week in June.
