Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I just want to thank whoever it was that gave up the archive of the DRAKES show. Listening to Rodger talk about the brewery and all his beers is great.

I know that many of you do not have opportunity to get some of those great barrell aged beers, but they are fantastic. Rodger is a very generous brewer. He needed some special fruit for a stout and being in the produce business myself, I hooked him up.

I was able to help him add the fruit to the stout. What a treat I tell ya.

He was going to do his Double IPA {Denogginizer} not so long ago and what ended up happening was a stuck mash. He said that it took 4 hours to sparge it out. That being the case it was not really the beer he was going for so he put it in a barrel. Let me tell you it was great to be there with him and his wine thief tapping into those barrels.

Sorry for going on about it but I just wanted to send some love out for Rodger and Mellissa. They do a great great job and are very very generous. Oh yeah, their beers are some of the best around as well.

Get some if you can.
