Regarding BrewPal it is ok for the money, but if you want something serious on your iPhone check out BeerAlchemy. I know BRewPal is a sponsor and all, so definitely buy that, but take a good hard look at BeerAlchemy after you outgrown BrewPal.
Features I like a lot:
- export to a computer. Starts up a website that runs on your phone that any computer on a network can see and download recipes and see your batch history. Download recipes as .Rex, beerXML, etc. Starts up ansimilar website for imports froma computer as well.
-Inventory. Why the shit don't these other apps have this feature? I can't remember what my hop storage looks like from one day to the next. This remembers for me and makes a shopping list of things I don't have.
-multiple batches. BrewPal assumes you are dealng with one brew at a time all the way to bottling. BeerAlchemy is not this way.
They don't owe me money, I just really like the poduct. It is easy to use and standalone.
