ok, can someone tell me what the hell a podcast is? I looked into it and don't see what the big deal is. Why don't you guys just download the archive and put it on your ipod? Maybe it does something I'm not realizing? I dunno :?

It's just another way of getting the archive. If you use Itunes, you can click on PodCasts and click Update, and it finds the file and downloads it for you. The file you get is exactly like the one you get from the archives, it's just a different way to get it. Youc an also have Itunes automatically download podcasts for you so you could have it get the file and have it waiting for you when you wake up. Just another option.

ok, I understand that but why do people say they need the podcast or they can't listen to the archives? Can't they download the mp3 and stick that on their ipod or whatever mp3 player?

I see no reason why they couldn't. The iPod is designed to use itunes exclusively for loading files. The user could download the mp3, import it into iTunes, then send it to the iPod. It's just easier if they can use iTunes to do the downloading in the first place.

Dude ... pretty open there, aren't we?

Cut him some slack. Anytime Justin is able to get it up without a giant stack of midget porn, it is a special time for him and he wants to let everyone know.

good one Jamil! Better be careful in that studio, I wouldn't bend over to quick with Justin around. Sounds like Doc might be some kind of ass sniffer too
From some of his comments in the Sunday show and here on this thread, me thinks Doc has some kind of anal fixation lately.

I think a 'touch the felt' comment is appropriate here.... ;)
Period-a punctuation mark which indicates the end of a sentence.

LOL-an acronym indicating the writer is proud to be 14 and has reached the end of a sentence.

Medtech, I suppose I could do this. Everytime I try to download the archive at work though it just kicks off playing. I didn't know you could download the actual mp3. My work computer sucks, I will try it at home and see if that works. I just didn't realize there was an actual file that you got, I thought it was streaming.

I will look into it, sorry for causeing you so much stress trying to figure out why I want it on iTunes. I just don't spend much time on my pc at home because I am on one all day, so I just like to dock up my iPod and call it good. I suppose I will have to get off my lazy ass until J gets of his! :P
