Hey guys. I'm not sure why you are getting that message. The broadcast seems to be working fine, and others have tuned in. The best thing to do is to click on the Abacast link below the listen links and they can give you real time support. there are troubleshooting links, and if you click contact can actually call and speak to a tech to walk you through any troubles. Very sorry for the inconvenience. It's part of the nature of webcasting that some PC's act different to stream than others.

thanks again for your patience,

Back again. I went to the abacast troubleshoot page and found this about firewalls and proxy servers if the error message you got was either a 4 or 7:

Problem
Certain hardware and software firewalls can prevent the Abacast Client from connecting, giving error message #4 or #7 as the reason.

Solution
If you're in an office network, confirm with your IT administrator that there are no proxy servers or firewalls that might prevent or filter outgoing HTTP access.
If you're using a personal firewall, please refer to your firewall's documentation on granting applications permission to connect to the Internet or review the various articles in the Personal Firewall section of this knowledgebase. If none of the articles apply please submit a ticket to our Technical Support Staff.

Don't know if that's what you got, but you might need to send a ticket to abacast. You'll see that option on the troubleshoout page through the Abacast link.

What I don't understand is I was able to connect before the switch to Abacast was made. I can also connect to other online radio stations.

If it is a firewall problem, then perhaps the extra plug-in is what is affecting it. When I start up winamp the first time with the firewall running, it is automatically blocked from the internet. Now I can configure the program to always allow winamp to connect. Once I install the software update, the program behaviour has changed, and my firewall once again blocks it by default.

OK, sorry guys. I will look into it more. But the best I can suggest is to go directly to Abacast for help. Full listener support is part of the reason I chose them to broadcast. They know the software the best and should be able to get you up and running. The link to their support page is directly below the listener links on our homepage.
