stream password protected with vlc player?

Hey guys I listen to BNRadio using VLC media player but for the last few days after I click to start the stream it comes up saying that I have to have a username and password to listen. Am I doing something wrong or is the stream being blocked for some reason? thanks for any info.

This is a known issue when connecting VLC to a stream that's not online. Have you tested with another player?

before I got an Android I used VLC exclusively (on LInux) to listen to the show, never had an issue.
