Mexi's archive reference thread

Thu May 07, 2009 12:06 pm

I hope this is ok.

As I've mentioned a trillion times, I'm working my way though the archives. To date, I'm trying my best to use the search and find the threads/pictures/updates on the forums that are mentioned in the podcasts I'm listening to, but either I suck at using the search or the search just plain sucks so I thought i'd just start a thread for you guys to help me with some of this stuff.

ok, so to start off on a light note, I was listening to an archive where there was a discussion about Vanna #1 and Vanna #2. Is there a thread about these 2 and are there pictures?

I was listening to the "build a brewhouse" show today and can someone point me towards the pics of Doc's brewhouse? My dad's a dentist too so maybe I can convince me to build me one too.

and finally, this morning I just listened to the 12/17/06 conical giveaway and the fundraser for Linda Stark. The show aired nearly 2 1/2 years ago and I was wondering if there was an update on Linda?

If this goes well, I would imagine there will be a couple questions a week about stuff like this.

Sadly, Linda passed away shortly after that episode.

I was hesitant to ask that question, but with the generosity that flowed from the BN Family towards her cause, even with the news being bad, I needed to know.

now on to bigger and better questions....Beevo on the stripper pole?

The Vanna discussions and pictures are in a thread about the 2007 GABF. Vanna #1 (Badrock's wife) and Vanna #2 (Badrock and Vanna's neighbor) were the number turners for the Beer Jeopardy game done on stage at GABF that year. Pictures were either in the thread talking about that or they were posted in the Gallery on the BN home page. If the pictures aren't there, I think I have a couple on my hard drive and Badrock used to have a picture of the 3 of them as his avatar.
