Here's Mort

So, I'm sitting here drunker than 700 Indians and decided I better catch up with my friends on the Brewing Network.

I've been pretty good the last few months, but lots has happened. I finally have the coaching camp behind me and that was pretty good. I ended up champion of my weight class in the rassle off they had the last day. I was pretty proud and the Mrs was too. I've continued in my efforts to get in better shape riding my bike and eating less fatty foods. Been going pretty good, I've lost 40 pounds. My oldest daughter hardly knew me when she was back for the fourth.

Speaking of the fourth, Me and Milt took four kegs to the downtown celebration. It wasn't anywhere near enough, but those that sampled were very impressed. We have become legendary without really even trying. Much of it is thanks to what I have learned on this and other forums, even though I've never received the kind of welcome I have on this board. Just know that while I am not on here all the time anymore, I still think of all of you as my friends and I will be back in all my splendor in the winter.

Things are looking prettty good here on the farm. I am going to be planting some six row soon, contracting for some finished product when the crop comes in next year. The brewing is going well. The brew coop has been wonderful so far. Looking forward to talking to my old friends.

That could possibly happen. I have been giving some thought to that. My son lives in that area, so I could have a place to stay. I'll give that some more thought.

Good to have you back Mort!

Good to hear about losing the weight, allows more years to drink more beer without the doctor hassling you
