I wonder who the publisher is. I was under the assumption that it was being published by the Brewers Association. If so, it should be available for preorder on the beertown.org website. I would rather buy through them (or The Brewing Network) than from Amazon.

If not, and since i do not have a LHBS, I'll probably order from Northern Brewer (if they get it right away... I'm impatient).

I will happily pay a "premium" price for a TBN supplied autographed copy.

I dont know if the publisher would allow something like that, but, they could appear second hand in the forum classifieds section or something.

That way I get to support JZ, Rock Candy and the TBN all at once.... plus I get a signed copy.

The BN will have a pre-order option available, signed by Jamil, very soon. I'll have full detalis and probably the option to pre-order all set up in our store during the show this Sunday.

It would help us alot if those of you who want to pre-order hang in there for us. We can't compete with Amaon's price (nobody can), but we can get you a signed copy!

One other point to note. The reason no one can compete with the Amazon price is that they absolutely screw the authors royalty wise. I know some guys who have written books and on a $40 book they are lucky to get a few c back from an Amazon sale. Its a tenth what they would get selling through a regular bookshop (but Amazon has the volume and the clout so the negotiate these deals with the publishers).

If you buy through the BN I'm sure J will make sure the authors get a fair cut.
