33 is where we break out the shorts! Seriously, when I was in college in the upper peninsula of Michigan, where we averaged around 25' (yes feet) of snow annually, late winter brought temps in the 30's and it really felt warm. The older I get, the less I can tolerate it though. We got 8" of snow a couple nights ago and it get in the teens and I was freezing. Then again, we'd been in the 40's until last week. VERY strange for Minnesota.

Shoot we're about normal for us right around 10 degrees. I've lived here all my life but I have to admit I am liking it less and less every year.

When I woke up this morning it was minus 10 here. At first I thought I might cancel the brew I had planned for today. But by noon it had warmed up to 6° above zero, sun is shining and no wind. So I have now mashed in and will start the boil in another 45 minutes or so. I love winter brewing!

I Feel ya mallard. What the notherners (yankees) don't seem to understand is that we wear shorts at christmas. Winter only happens a week in Febuary . 33 degrees is friggin cold in Texas, and we are Justin when it comes to ice.
