What the hell are jayne hats n what it have to do with fox?

Fox believes they own the design and have exclusively licensed sales of it to ThinkGeek, making all all other commerce of similar design an infraction of their rights. Legally they are probably correct, it's just kind of shitty.

I liked the show. I just signed up for NetFlix free month yesterday & had my first opportunity to see the movie. Unfortunately I've been putting in some serious hours lately, working on a few different projects so about 3/4's of a beer & 20 minutes into it, I started working on putting an impression of my keyboard on my forehead. It started out awesome, now I just have to finish it when I'm not so damned tired.

Yeah, unfortunately they are legally right. The douchey thing is that they didn't care about the series & cancelled it, had no intentions of ever doing anything with it again... until they saw what they believed to be money in it. You'd think they'd realize that these folks knitting them at home are doing it for the love of it, not the 3 cent profit...
