iPhone SIM card swapping question

Tue Mar 26, 2013 8:13 am

I lost my iPhone 4 over the weekend, so yesterday I bought a 16-gig iPhone 5. My wife has the 64-gig iPhone 5. We want to swap phones. Before I make any changes I'll regret, I want to make sure I know what I'm doing.

So I know I can swap the SIM cards, but that doesn't bring over all the apps, music & photos etc. If I swap the cards and then do a sync, I'm assuming my wife's 64-gig iPhone 5 would now show all my apps and stuff yes? Or are there some other hoops I need to jump through?

If you have iCloud enabled on both phones and do a back up to the cloud you'll be fine. Take her phone wipe it clean and restore from the cloud with your information.
It will load all of your settings, apps, photos. You can also back it up to iTunes. It will be just as you left it.
