Requesting Help from the BN Army ... Not Boobs but worthy

Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:26 pm

I know this isn't beer or boobs, but it is very hard to drink if you have diabetes ... DOTW would be a death sentence (maybe not that bad, but not good). Artificial boobs have already been approved, but the artificial pancreas still needs FDA approval. All seriousness aside, I would really appreciate any support you folks could provide!

My niece, diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 2, could use some help obtaining support for Juvenile Diabetes Research. She will be going to Washington D.C. in June as an advocate for the cause (week after NHC). Any show of support that she can receive will be a help as she addresses Congress. Please follow the link below and fill out the required information ... a Name, Address, and e-mail is all that is required. Anything beyond that is just bonus. Thanks for your support!

Hey bud,
Wow, what a no-brainer.

I am in complete support of what your niece is doing- no $, all I did was click on the link and give them my info to indicate support.

I am a huge needle-phobe: I have never been able to watch 'trainspotting' without passing out. I know that I'm a huge puss, but I can't imagine what that little girl goes through on a daily basis. She deserves the BN purple heart, and I really hope that you can harness the support of this great group of people to help further the cause.

Having actually been to "lobby' the douche bags that run our government, I commend LeAnne for having the solid stones to get up and be proactive about the cause. It ain't easy or quick, but she's got moxy and that shows through plain and clear.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to be supportive of this effort. Best to you and your family, GM

Info sent. FYI, this is a facebook thing, and even though I erased my ties with those shady bastards I was still able to sign the form. When I hit send, they tried to get me to log in, but the confirmation email sent at the same time. You don't need an account. Not sure if anyone else here is as Anti-FB as I am, but hope the info helps.
