The "Bitching About Co-workers" Thread

Mon Feb 14, 2011 7:47 am

Everyone out there has worked with someone they hate. Before I open the floor to your submissions, let me give you mine.

I'll call him Gollum, because...well, that should be obvious. He looks like god damn Smeagol. Now I work in the dairy department of a big box retail store that may or may not end in "-Mart," but I've never wanted to hit a co-worker before. Maybe yell a little, but never punch them. This guy is like 25, he's addicted to World of Warcraft and takes every opportunity to bring it up in conversation, wrongly assuming I care. On the job, he's like a 15 year old kid, always fucking around. I'm not of the unslackerish persuasion, friends, but even I can't dodge work like this guy.

There are, however, two things that really irk me about working with him:

1) He's got to scream when he yells. I don't mean he talks a little loud (which he does, because he's half fucking deaf) I mean he's screaming, at the top of his lungs most of the time. And it's not like a normal scream, it's like he's trying to talk like a cartoon character. I'd go into more detail, but the sound of his voice annoys me so bad that thinking about it pisses me off, and I have a hard time describing it.

2) He's got this god damn annoying habit of throwing shit at me constantly. The first day of my transfer into this store, he explained to me that he "likes to throw things a lot." By a lot, he means constantly. He goes so far as to stockpile little flat pieces of cardboard that he can fling across the cooler, usually at me, while I'm trying to get shit done. It makes me go from wanting to scream at him to wanting to hit him.

Apologies if this sounds like unwarranted bitching, friends. But thinking about it made me wonder if anyone else has a co-worker they'd love to see get hit in the face with a bowling ball, because misery loves company, right?

Tag. I've got to bring my son to school and go with my wife for the ultrasound (she's prego). Then I'll come back with some gems of the freakshows I work with.

If you take what I post here literally, you're retarded. I'm here to fuck around, have a good time, and learn about beer. You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you.

Fuck that shit. I'd be having a chat with HR on that one. I'd be one to let it go for awhile then one day I would be having a bad day then I would rage on him then I would be in trouble.

Don't get mad, get even. I've worked with some real dicks in the past & I always got even with them. One a-hole used to steal something out of everyone's lunch, until I baked a batch of 4 boxes of Ex-Lax brownies.
Naturally he stole them, and about an hour later, he thought he'd been poisoned.
Just something to think about....

I magic-markered some bananas black to stop folks from stealing them. It worked.
Beyond that, nobody at work screws with me.

I feel your pain brother, I work ina machine shop. Their is this one guy at the shop that about 2 years ago had to go for a random piss test and ended up quiting "because he wanted to try something new in his life" ya right he was a fucking tweaker. Well this dip shit while he knows quite a bit about somethings, but knows jack shit about other things. he can run a machine lathe like a pro,,,, 22 years experiance will get that for ya. he can't figure out easy stuff like an air starter (trust me it's easy, air in, air spins a rotor, and air comes out) I have been a mechanic in the oil feild for about 8 years and have worked on engines from the inside of the crank case.
Now I'm not saying that I'm the man or I know more than anyone else,,,, but holey fucking shit! this guy with 22 years experiance can't find the angle of degrees on two surfaces, I have been working at this shop for almost 2 years and I have to be called in to save this idiot's ass all the time. Oh ya this moron was hired back to the shop after being gone for 9 months now I have to deal with the inbread, what makes it even better he tells me "I tried some of that beer like what you make, it was a friend of mines, it tastes like shit. I like the budwiser, cause it gets me fucked up quicker. That shit you guy's make it gots too much water in it or som-in, it make's me piss too damn much."

What a fuck-tard! :asshat: so ya brother I feel ya.
