future brew room

Wed Oct 13, 2010 12:49 pm

I have about a 6-7' deep crawl space and decided to make better use of it by creating an outside ingress. Mostly to use for storage, but eventually I plan to make a space inside for my brewery. It's a work in progress...

start after I excavated and had a hole cut in the foundation stem wall.

I also had a new side drive and pad poured

Eventually I will pour a pad inside the crawl space and frame up some walls to make a finished space.

Looks good man, we're looking for a new house right now and "beer room" is one of the top priorities.

Down here in southern Louisiana we don't have basements or crawlspaces though, ...well, if you don't mind using a snorkel I guess it could work :P

Those pictures make me miss pouring concrete! Can't wait to see your brew room.

Are you planning on prohibition coming back? My god! Anne Frank could've lived down there for years!

no roof, on average we have about 1-2 weeks with snow on the ground in the winter. it has a floor drain for any rain. I still need to install a railing though.
