A tornado blew down 3-5 houses, derailed a train, and flipped a semi.
All of this was within 10 miles of my house.... well the train was 15 miles...still! I guess it tore up Wisconsin pretty bad too.
JANUARY.... TORNADO!
Wacky shit.

We were at -15 on Friday, and today we're nearing 70!!! That's an 85 degree swing in four days (for those of you that can't do simple math). I think the world is ending. Can I borrow one of the short bus helmets when the sky starts falling??? I'll let you play with my protractor...

There is one and only one thing you should know about protractors and urinals - "the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection"...

Therefore, fellow short busers... if you don't want to pee all over yourself - attack it at an angle! Considering the amount of beer I drink, I am reminded of this fact several times daily.

Be happy you're not in Fairbanks, AK. It got all the way up to -20F at noon today. Click on the picture for the current webcam shot. Bookmark it if you want to watch the ice sculpture grow until it falls over in the spring.

Hey I spent 7 years in Squarebanks at UAF (Alaskan Amber on tap at the campus pub!!!) and anything below -20F just feels the same. Cold. Bike chain lubricant starts to thicken up a bit at -20 too!

Anything above -20 is just peachy in my mind...

However, here in MD we are in the upper 60's. Just plain wrong...

Yup nice and warm. I took the day off and brewed. Not the best brewday ever, but I think I'll end up with beer.

If your really bored or feel like you need to punish yourself for something take a look at my blog for the day....

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.
