just got back from buffalo grove/chicago. I was out there for company training.... and holy shit was that storm awesome. How close was I to you bub? I forget to see if anyone would want to grab a brew from on here while I was out there. That's insane you still were losing power yesteraday! I'm back here in boston now, but those were some of the best lightning storms I've ever seen.

I made it, just barely. I was driving home in that shit Friday. A big tree in my neighbors yard snapped in half. Luckly no trees went down in my yard. I have two trees within 20' of my house. How long were you without power? We got ours back around 9:30pm. Lost it again for a little while Saturday. Damn storm. I wanted to brew last weekend. Thanks to the storm I spend the weekend cleaning up after it.

Sympathies all around.

Holly batshit,Batman!!!!!
You guys went thru hell!!! Feel sorry for you guys, hope all turns well.
Bub - nice pictures! BTW, my friend really liked your description of a "typical" brew day, she was in tears from all the laughter. Dude, you are good! You should write a book: Bub's adventures in brewing
Gucci - hope the insurance will pick up the bill.
Push - check out www.najasplace.com take a look at the beer menu!

Cheers,
