RIP - NFL?

I just renewed my seasons tickets to the Pats so I hope they play. The NFL has guaranteed refunds for unplayed games so I'm not worried about that. I will have some affect on the way people see Football, but I doubt it will have any lasting affect.

I guess we'll find out tonight.

But how do you feel about the fact that you just gave the Pats an interest free loan, so they can earn interest on your money, if they don't play. They shouldn't be collecting money until they have a new contract signed.

As it is every year since the ticket invoices have to be paid for by March 31st for something that doesn't happen in until August. Honestly the $3 in interest I can earn is not that big of a deal.

Besides...they always send me a cool lapel pin with my tickets, so I consider it a wash
