The hell with a scholarship send that cash to a school councillor or a peer prevention group.
In high school we had PIP- partners in prevention. It was a students idea and it took off. I was also a member of an organization called SPILL- supporting peers in laidback listening. It was an email system and was totally anonymous. Responses were quite fast and there is no doubt in my mind that some of those people that reached out for help, would not be here if those programs were not available.
Spread the love, people. Stop and listen and lend a hand when people need it. Sometimes all a person needs is a shoulder to cry on or someone to listen.
