After listening to the clips and reading all the comments on it, I have to weigh in. I hope no one gets their feelings hurt, since after all, it's just beer and the internet. I think it 's pretty obvious that Zymergest was drunk and trying a little too hard to be funny; you know, showing off all his in-jokes and stuff to make himself look better. It wasn't very funny and definitely went a little too far. I don't know the guy personally, so I won't say he's always like that, but clearly on this show he was. But what kind-of bugs me more is the response of some of us BNers. Instead of calling the guy a douche and letting it slide, a lot of us have gotten all butthurt and are saying some pretty nasty shit about the guy. Not to be all moralistic, but how does that make us any better than him? At least he was trying to be funny--some of you all have, I think, let your precious feelings get in the way and have crossed the line yourselves. Don't like the guy? I don't care. Screaming bloody murder about him calling Justin gay? Bit melodramatic, if you ask me (which no one did). Anyway, I think we all need to relax a little. Let the guy be a douche. Anyone who believes that kind of stuff is a douche too. Let's let it rest at that.
