Hey Thirsty, I was curious, do you know your breakdown of times for how long you spent on each stage:swim/bike/run?
I'm wondering how long it took you to run the 6 miles.

Swim (0.92 miles): 25:58.95
Transition 1 (swim to bike): 06:03.25
Bike (23 miles): 1:28:00.75
Transition 2 (Bike to run): 1:35.90
Run (6.2 miles): 1:07:14.30
Total Time: 3:08:53.15

My swim time was the 4th best in my age group apparently. My T1 time sucked, but I didn't exactly know what I was doing and I was taking my time a bit. I think I can take a good 3-4 minutes off that time in the future (which would have put me in 18th place as opposed to 21st). Like I said, it was my first tri, so this one was more for me to see if I could physically do it and to learn the ins and outs. I think I can bring that time down pretty significantly with what I know now and giving myself the proper time for training (instead of only 2 months).

For reference, the first place guy in my age group went a 2:13:21.65 and the last place guy went 3:26:54.55.

Here is a link to the results for all age groups, if you want to compare some numbers with some of your own... http://www.doitsports.com/newresults3/client/181030_215074_2007.html.
