Why I like brewing

I picked up a new hobby since Daniela left but I can't tell about it cuz my hand hurts and it's too much to type.

I can relate...I grew up around the R/C plane scene. Although, it was never about going fast, it was about how many points you got in the judging circle (scale realism), and how realistic your flight looked. I had a few friends that wanted to go fast, and even held some national records. For a while my dad and I were involved in a "show team" that put on demonstrations at full size airshows. It was fun... but we spent hours and hours building for 5-9 minutes of flight time. Sometimes I think it would be fun to have an R/C plane again... but then think about how much brew equipment I could buy instead...

A co-worker of mine is REALLY into RC combat- They have fast and light planes with 30 ft crepe paper ribbons tied to the tails of the planes. With 5 or six of 'em it's like a nitro-powered hornet maelstrom. Collisions are common, and pilots need spotters and helmets. If I were to want to spend the money on RC planes, that's what I would do.
