Have a happy Thanksgiving. Just remember that the reason the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock was not because it looked like a nice place to live. They were out of beer. So when you celebrate Thanksgiving just remember what the pilgrims were thankful for and drink a beer in their honor.

Don't get to brew this weekend, but, I do need to bottle. I have a Bourbon Porter and a Holiday Ale that are ready to be bottled and the wife wanted to do an Island mist wine kit last time we were in the LHBS and that is now ready to bottle.
Mother's in the kitchen washing out the jugs,
Sister's in the pantry bottling the suds,
Father's in the cellar mixing up the hops,
Johnny's on the front porch watching for the cops.

Not that it has any relation to Turkey Day, but I made a IPA today, with a twist of American hops. It smelled really good, hope it turns out great too.

Happy Turkey Day to all, and enjoy the long weekend.

I'm out here at Morts house sipping a beer and wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving. The bird has been cleaned and came in a little over 26 pounds. There should be some leftovers.

The light ale is not as tasty as the nut brown. It is good, but kind of bland compared to that beer. If you mix the two though that is a good beer there.

Happy turkey day you turkeys!
