Autumn was on a Thursday this year

Thu Oct 03, 2013 4:01 pm

... and now it's coming down. My lawn was still green a few hours ago. We got another inch in the last hour alone (up to 3" total so far) & it's still coming down at a pretty good rate. Tomorrow morning is going to suck donkey balls on the road, but I'll take it!

Keep that shit out there...our leaves haven't even turned yet.

A few years ago, we got about a foot+ right around Halloween. They had to postpone to the following weekend because it was too dangerous for the kids to go out.

It was hell driving around this morning. Normally our snow is ultra dry champagne powder which is completely different than the occasional snow the south sees & throughout the east/midwest. It's simple to drive in, it doesn't pull on your car, doesn't really freeze up (first thing in the morning just slam 1 car door & 90% of the car is cleared). Except for early/late season. We get your snow. This morning it was half frozen slush & since I'm out before everyone else, blazing my own trail on the backroads, it was pretty shitty. Trees down everywhere, almost got sucked into the ditch about a half dozen times & it took me an extra 90 minutes to finish. Oh well, it still beats 90F in my book.

Man I'd love to move to Montana. My best vacation ever was to Yellowstone and the surrounding area . My tour guide scared me off though, when she said it should be called Mantana. My wife is way too hot and I don't need the competition :)

Truth. I also have a hard time convincing myself to put my snow tires on this early, which makes the commute more interesting.

I apologize, but this got stuck in my head. Now I will attempt to put it in yours. I have heard the phrase Mantana many times, it is sadly a common phrase. When said from/to ladies, it often comes with the caveat : The odds are good, but the goods are odd.

I will not click on that. I will not click on... shit. I didn't need to. Fuck you Adam. Although it sure beats the time when that asshole Justin had to play Katy Perry. Up until that point I had successfully never heard that bullshit. Then it was stuck in my head for days. Luckily I can't remember the words so I'm relatively safe now.

We're going to have to start calling you NervousBreakdown :D Not only is this Mantana, it's also Montucky. So you might not have to worry about the competition as much as you think. Unless your wife has some really weird taste in men. Which, in hindsight, she might considering she married you.
