Old beer crates and bottles

Thu Aug 19, 2010 3:07 pm

I have a bunch of old beer crates and bottles and I can't find any good information on them. The crates say Eblings on them. If anyone knows any info on them it would be cool.
Thanks

Normal is getting dressed and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get the job you need to pay for the cloths and the car and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

That was the same site that I had found myself. I assume that it is the older one because it doesn't say "The Ebling". Not sure, I was just curious.

I collect old beer crates (great for storing barleywines that need to age for years), but I haven't heard of that one.

I did a little more snooping on Ebling Brewing Co. and came up with this picture of a 1934 Studebaker delivery truck of theirs.

Couldn't find anything else significant other that a short newspaper article from the New York Times from 1888 about a fire in the malthouse.
