vacation time, whats out there?

i have a weeks vacation coming up and time restraints alow me to go no further than illinois, what might i find in that wonderful state? breweries, brewpubs, etc. i probably have only a couple days there before i have to go home, oh and i'm going through iowa, coming and going, anything there too?

thanks, i'll try des moine but would rather not try to ride the bike in chicago or any overpopulated city.

Consider jumping up to Wisconsin for New Glarus. If you do make it to Chicago, I would add Goose Island to the list.

+1. New Glarus is only a hour or two north of Illinois. It's all two lane farm roads that looked like it be great to ride on.
