Funny TV Spots (non-beer related)

Wed Jun 28, 2006 7:21 am

Hey gang, I work in advertising and one of our Clients is Jack Link's (the beef jerky folks). Below is a link to some spot we recently made for them. Some networks wouldn’t agree to run this spot due to the content.

They'll allow sexual content in programs but not bodily functions, where's the justice? We'll save the bigger social issue saved for another day and another discussion. In any case, I'd like to put the vote to the people. If you have a second please take a look (sorry if you have a problem with bodily functions). Feel free to pass it along. I want this spot to be seen by more people via the internet vs. cable TV. (Clients always seem to have trouble believing in the power of the internet.) Thanks in advance.

That's some funny shit. Although I can see why the networks balked at it. Maybe cable... you could target the nascar folks they'd enjoy.

That is pretty damn funny. Tell the TV people they are a bunch of uptight assholes. That probably describes a lot of the population tho :?

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I have seen that spot a bunch of times on tv in the past month. Must depend on the particular cable provider. They actually have a series of 3 or 4 of these spots that are similar.
