Abacast not compatible with Windows Vista

Thu Jun 07, 2007 8:18 am

New computer came with Windows Vista and I can't get the abacast to load and thus no streaming and can't get the archives to download. Any alternatives? Thanks, Pooh

Welcome to the wonderful world of Vista!
I downloaded the real player which will handle live feeds. Works good for me and Vista!

Just associate the RealPlayer with .pls file types and then when you click on the feed link it will open in the RealPlayer.

thanks, I caught your reply on the other topic, my next question was going to be what the file format was. I had to uninstall winamp so that it would associate with realplayer. Currently Im trying to get the abaclient to even run since I keep getting the message it has stopped working.

I never cared for the RealPlayer either, but when it can bring you the meet, I'm sold! Enjoy.

VISTA SUX! B-Rocks suggestion of using realplayer is working for a few minutes then it craps out and never starts back up (rebuffering or some crap) this is frigin killin me. Anyone else dealing with this? I am thinking it might be time to reload with XP.
Many Thanks,
Dave
