I'll be kegging my version of this next week. The grainbill is the same but I had to adjust the hops because I'm evidentially bad at keeping up with my inventory. Still giving mad props to - *yup yup yup* McDole. Can't wait to try it.

Cheers!

I poured my first "official" batch of the Tasty Session Pale at the brewer's campground during the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival.

One reviewer called it "yum":

....and this other brewer from some obscure Santa Rosa brewery is emailing me questions about the recipe.
I might have something here. Just sayin.........

For those besides Tasty and Matt B that have brewed/tasted this, what is your feedback? Did you use 001 or 002 for your yeast? How'd it turn out? What did you like? Not like? What would you change, if anything?

I've got an imperial stout coming up this weekend so want something I can work up pretty quickly once I get that fermenting.

Just brewed this. Nailed the O.G. Accidentally did 14% C40 and 5% C15. Oops. We'll see how it turns out. I am going with 001.

Did a double brew day with this and Janet's Brown!
