I agree... let the big brewers make the semi-shitty transition beers. I think people's palates will LIKELY change faster than the big boy's brewing habits, driving consumers into the arms of craftbrewers... their model of business is geared way more towards ads and display and less towards premium ingredients, plus they have all that equipment overhead of being optimized for cereal mashes. What was it that the AHA posted, a flat 2% market share for craft beers through the late 90's into the early 00's, and then a steep climb up to 4% (100% increase) for the last 3 years or so?

That being said... there are entire generations of swill drinkers out there, and they won't change, if simply for economic reasons.

I saw this commercial today for the first time while watching the race, and thought WTF???? To me, it's just like Inbusch telling us they dry hopped that American Ale....yeah, whatever!!!

I'll stick to REAL hopped beers, ones I can actually taste!!!!

yes, the michalob commercial that is "in" germany and talks about german hops, pours a 12 oz bottle in a Pint glass and the label on the beer being poured is a Pale Ale.

Just how dumb do they think we are? Or is it, how dumb are they to think we are dumb?
