I've got a brew that's been in the fermenter for about 2 weeks. I've still got some white floaties at the top of my fermenter. I pitched 2 vials of WLP001, cause I didn't want to wait for a starter. I would have thought it would be done by now. It bubbles about every 30 - 45 seconds.
As long as I've been brewing I've never used Cal Ale yeast, is this normal? I note from WL's site that the yeast has "medium" flocculation.
Tell me to not worry, relax and have a homebrew, or maybe thoughts on what might be wrong. I haven't tasted it, I didn't take an OG, and haven't taken a sample since it began fermenting. Cheers
