You need a manifold like this:
Here we've got a piece of 3/8" copper running through a #1 stopper with a piece of stainless braid. The #1 holed stopper fits exactly into the hole in the back of the valve on the bucket. This pic uses a piece of SureScreen keg strainer, but you can also pull the stainless braid from the outside of a toilet supply line hose. You can build this for about $5.
I mashed full AG with this setup for about a year with perfect results. You can certainly do a great minimash with this system.
