Extract "twang?" (Doc--help me out here!)

Listening to the BN, a guest said to try using Anderson's Pale LME.

Is that really Andersons, or maybe Alexanders? I've not heard of Andersons before.

I'll just chime in and say that the combination of full wort boils and late extract additions has done wonders to my extract brews and the potential extract "twang."

I have had that issue with extract that comes in a can. I try to use dry extract of find an extract that comes in a plastic jug or plastic container. Also old extract can give you some strange flavors. I went from partial boil on my stove to a full boil outside, and I think it made a huge difference in my beer.

Definitely. Start a brew journal. That's helped me improve one process at a time so I know what fixed what.
