Can I make any beer with that yeast? Or just small ones i.e. og less then 1.060 and of same style?

You can do pretty much anything with it. In fact, many of us, before brewing a huge beer (e.g. barleywine, RIS, 1.100+ OG) will brew a average strength beer specifically to reuse the yeast from it in the big beer.

In general, it's better to repitch from lower gravities to higher, lighter to darker, and less hoppy to more hoppy. This is mostly important at the extremes, an average strength, average hopped beer can be pretty much repitched into anything.

Was it used for a smoked porter? Might want to make sure to rinse in that case...

Yes it was .. and I did rinsed it .. collected 3 mason jars. Will the smoke flavor transfer with yeast if you don't wash it ?

A couple years ago I made a Winter Warmer that had cloves in it and used that cake for a Wee Heavy. I did not rinse it, (was the first time I reused yeast) and the clove surley came through. Wasn't bad for that beer really, but I sure learned from it. :jnj
