Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale

Wed Oct 24, 2007 12:20 pm

I would like to try to formulate a partial mash recipe version of Sierra Nevada'a anniversary ale. After visting their web site I came up with the following information.

Achohol content 5.9% by volume
S.G. 14.9 Plato
F.G. 3.5 Plato
bitterness units 46
top fermenting ale yeast
bittering hops-Chinook
Finishing hops-Cascade
Dry hop-Cascade
Malts-Two row Pale, Carmel& Munich

Does anyone have any sugestions on yeast strain, amount of hops, and the % of grains to use. Any ideas /commentswould be greatly appreciated.
