Okay, I'm making this monster Imperial Belgium stout, aiming for around 12%

I have a base gravity of 1.05 from a wort in being given. then steeping 12 oz of belgium coffe malt and 12 oz of 120 belgium crystal....then I was thinking adding 1lb of honey? and 2lb of amber malt extract and using wyests w530 yeast....

what are your thoughts on the addition of honey? or should I just add 3lb of amber? (im looking to boost the gravity up and maybe add a little flavor)

Skip the honey and use Brown sugar, better yet, Turbinado. The Honey will be lost, but the Brown/Turbinado will give a slight molasses flavor.
